Sue Kenney
The
Camino de Santiago is one of the most celebrated pilgrimages
in the world, dating back to the medieval times. Sue,
a 45 year old mother of 3 daughters, walked this pilgrimage
route covering 780 kms across the north of Spain in
the winter, alone. For 29 days she journeyed through
intense weather conditions, on a life altering oddessy
that revealed many gifts and lessons. She walked with
an open body, spirit and mind with the intention of
finding self-love, something she had lost in a society
that honors material goals and values.
Only
five weeks before she left on the Camino, Sue was an
account executive with an international high technology
firm who became a statistic in the corporate downsizing
world. As a result of this, she would soon become a
pilgrim, like so many millions before her.
Sue
Kenney's My Camino, is a true story about the spiritual
journey of a woman confronts her deepest fear. Her stories
are told with the grace of a humble pilgrim, engaging
the reader with humor and incredible intensity. Sue
weaves anecdotes of the people she met and experiences
she had on her Camino, as a metaphor for real life situations.
As she walked, her awareness of life's greatness increased
and in a liminal moment, she experiences universal love,
changing her life, forever. This book gives a perspective
on the philosophy that every thought, action and word
comes from a place of love. These are stories about
a woman driven by passion to confront her deepest fear.
Sue
Kenney was born in Toronto and now lives in a quaint
cottage on a Lake in Ontario. Sue is a writer, workshop
facilitator, entrepreneur, storyteller and inspirational
speaker with her own spoken word CD, Stone by Stone;

Every day she lives her purpose to inspire people through
her stories.
